The main base materials of TPS materials are SEBS and SBS, which have flexible molecular chains. When subjected to external forces, the initial change occurs in the bond angles and bond lengths within the molecules, rather than intermolecular relative movement leading to deformation. It requires a significant amount of force to cause the material to undergo brittle failure, hence TPE is highly tough and elastic. The structure of the material determines its performance. How can we alter the inherent characteristics of this material and prevent injuries to children from sharp fragments after the material breaks?

Our Sungallon GP510 series modifies the material so that it can undergo brittle failure under lower stress, resulting in softer fragments that are less likely to injure children. It is also very easy to injection mold and demold, and the finished products can be colored, screen-printed, and spray-painted. The main applications include:

  1. Eggshells for events: These are commonly seen at various activities and exhibitions, with the primary purpose of creating a lively atmosphere and leaving a memorable impression of the event.

  2. Blind box shells: These shells are fragile and easy to break, which is part of the appeal of blind boxes—a sales method where the contents are only revealed after opening.

  3. Stress-relief toys: Given the universal presence of life stress, these toys can provide a way to release tension during leisure time.
